The photo has to be less than 512K, which seems to be very small from my camera. It also has to be at 72 pixels or less. I have been trying for a couple of weeks to get one small enough to upload. I'm taking a class in Photo Shop and had to call my instructor to get him to help me. If you have Photo Shop I can give you the directions I wrote down so you can do it.

I didn't think, until right now, that I could have maybe used an avatar picture, but then I don't remember how that went anyway.

Let me know if you want the photo shop directions. After that it was just an upload. :D

Blessings

This is last years garden. I didn't take a picture of the first one I grew, and it was the biggest and prettiest. You can kind of see on the right hand side that 2 of them aren't growing really well. I'm going to take pictures as I go along of this years garden.

Blessings

Yay! I just got the garden and set it up last night. I'm so excited....I might actually get to grow something! ;)

But I have a question, Mamoo. How long do you keep your light on? I admit I didn't read any information so if it's in the directions, forgive me. I had to move the thing to the other end of the house because the light was so bright during the nighttime.

Thanks!
Gail

HeeHeeHee, I know what you ;mean about the light. If you are growing herbs the light will stay on 16 hours. It is automatic, you just set it for herbs, if you set it for salad (my other one is salads) I think it is on about 14 hours.

I had to turn mine off (the herb one) and let it rest for a day and then turned it on at 5:45 a.m. I put it in the living room near the hall door. The light shines under our bedroom door at 5:45 in the morning and I am awake and moving before 6:00. Much nicer than an alarm clock.

My herb garden is the only one that I can see during the night, the other one is on the other end of the LR. The light goes off arouind 9:00 so it is dark at bedtime. You can play with the timer so it will be off during the night.

Blessings

I ordered one of the space saver models for under $40. Very happy about that :) I am going to grow herbs with it. My soil is terrible outside, so I am going to use this year to enrich it naturally and next year will garden again.

I had to do that last year. I had a lot of trouble getting anything to grow, between the soil and the dogs, nothing grew for the last 2 years actually. I have 3 raised garden beds now that I have been composting and turning all winter. I also added worms a couple of times.

You will love your aero garden. What herbs did you get for the space saver model and how many pods do you have? I didn't see an under $40 one. That sounds like an awesome deal.

Blessings

it was on the outlet page for $39.95 I think. It's got a smaller footprint, and it has 6 pods. It has a variety of herb pods that come with it, and after I figure the system out I'll order more :)
